Weekly Uplift – “Where is God in this Pandemic? God on End of the World”

With the challenges we have had recently, one might think that we are close to, if not, the end of the world. When one thinks of the plagues in Egypt and the difficulties/desolations noted in the book of Revelation and what is happening now, one might wonder if something of Biblical proportions is happening.

We will explore this topic more fully in the Sunday service, May 24, 9 – 9:30 a.m through Zoom meeting and FacebookLivestreaming on the Church’s Facebook Page. Your thoughts about this topic are welcome.

We might prepare for this subject by taking a closer look at Revelation, chapters 1 – 3. If we read these chapters more closely, we see clearly that God is communicating with churches and individuals through the Spirit of God. We know from other scriptures that no matter what time or era we are in, we can take heart that God is in regular communication with us. Through this communication, we can rest assured that God loves us and is present with us through the comfort of God’s Spirit.

May we experience the strength and comfort of God’s Spirit during this time and through all times.
