On December 2nd come and experience the ambiance of the Festival of Trees while you enjoy a bottomless bowl of soup and/or dessert in our Fellowship Hall at First Christian Church in Adel.

We will serve our soup from 11:30am to 1:00pm and your choice of our sumptuous desserts will be available from 11:30am until 3:00pm.

Our Quilt Show will open from 1:00pm until 3:30pm which is held in the Sanctuary of the church.

FESTIVAL OF TREES OPEN HOUSE

The First Christian Church is participating in the Adel Partners “Sip and Sample” city wide OPEN HOUSE.  We invite you to enjoy a leisurely stroll through Fellowship Hall where over 20, beautifully decorated, themed Christmas trees are on display.  Sample our “crockpot peanut clusters” and hot cider.

Here are the ways your kids can be involved at Adel First Christian Church (Adel FCC):
 
  • CIA (for kids in pre-kindergarten to 2nd grade): as of January 2018, meets from 6:00-7:00 pm on Wednesdays*
  • JYF (for kids in 3rd-5th grade): meets from 6:00-7:00 pm on Wednesdays*
  • Chi Rho (for kids 6th-8th grade): meets from 6:00-7:00 pm on Wednesdays*
  • CYF (for kids in 9th-12th grade): meets from 6:00-7:00 pm on Wednesdays*
  • Sunday School for all ages: meets from 10:30-11:30 am on Sundays*

The Sunday morning traditional service blends hymns, the chancel choir and traditional worship elements with a sermon focused on current issues and events.  Fellowship is followed by Christian Education for all ages and interests.
 
The Sunday evening contemporary service has a live praise band that provides high energy music and a message that is relevant and relatable.

Adel FCC Youth Programs

**Beginning the first Wednesday in September!**
 
Youth groups and Sunday School at Adel FCC are open to every child in our community.  Children are invited to come and be unconditionally accepted and loved, to grow in their connection to the Lord, and to walk with others as they learn about Jesus.  Kids enjoy age-appropriate, faith-based activities and discussions, games, snacks, and crafts.   The registration form can be found below and is required for all ages.

 

On Wednesdays there is a family/community dinner at 5:30 pm.  Families absolutely love this mid-week family fellowship time!
